Wheel of Time

“The Wheel of Time turns and ages come and Go. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.”

Based on Robert Jordan’s fantasy series, Legend Entertainment release The Wheel of Time in 1999, utilizing the Unreal 1 Engine and combining first-person shooter style game play with role playing qualities. While you don’t have to have read The Wheel of Time books to play this game, it does help with you understanding of objects, people, places, and events of the game.

Play in a single player quest as Elayna Sedai of the Brown Ajah, the Keeper of the Chronicles of the White Tower as she recovers and restores the seals of the dark one’s prison. Battle Trollocs, Myrddraal, and other creatures of the dark, dark friends, white cloaks and more as she travels to places like Shadar Logoth, Mountains of Mist, and Shayol Ghul wielding the One Power with ter’angreal acquired along the way. “Over 40 mystical spells and artifacts of unimaginable power, for defensive and offensive strategy that challenges your wits. Fireballs, lighting, disguise, healing, levitation, decay, Earth tremor… all are at your disposal.”

Play in multi-player mode, you can play in an Arena mode (death match), Citadel mode (capture the flag but with seals instead of flags) or Team as the following:

  • Elayna Sedia, from the single player
  • Leader of the Children of the Light (WhiteCloaks) – “The Whitecloaks ally with no one. A brutal band of inquisitors, exception in their ruthlessness and hated for the Aes Sedai. Only their leader knows what he’ll do with the seals if he should find them…”
  • Ishamael, one of the Forsaken(Ishamael) – “A servant of the Dark One who has been plotting the release of his beloved master from the ethereal jail. He will stop at NOTHING to get the lost seals and release the Dark One. Nothing.”
  • The Hound – “This shadowy being is the very essence of the cursed city, Shadar Logoth, made flesh. He works as a puppet master, manipulating events in favor of the nameless evil he serves.”

“In Citadel and Team you must customize your fortress to protect your seals…. set booby traps, place 3 types of troops and defend your castle from marauders!”
